There is NO such thing as guilt or failure on this diet

Good morning,

For those who find it difficult and even impossible to follow Daniels diet.

I have received a few private emails from people who love the Daniels Diet plan/book and their desire is to do it - but just cant or they start and after 2- 3 days have to give up. Guilt or depression then often comes into play.

Lets turn this into a positive:

First; You Are Not Alone, there are many people who find it hard to change lifestyles and eating habits. I myself have done Daniels Diet and fasts many many times over the years and occasionally i get 2-3 days into it and for reasons like - work stress, emotional issues, just too hard at the time etc i have given in and gone back on other foods. It doesn't matter - because the wonder of the Diet is that you can do it any time you choose and when you are ready. Its not a race or competition and God will love you 100% whether you finish or not. In fact the Scriptures say He will draw nigh/closer to the hurting and broken hearted.
Other times i have given in to temptation during the diet by eating something that is not in the plan, or have had a wedding to go to- what i do is just add another day or 2 to the 10 days to make up for it - but i don't give in or stop of feel guilty. I like the old saying ' just get back on the bike when you have fallen off"

Second; you are wanting to change and follow a healthy program, that's positive. To me this means if you don't give up and keep your mind focused on doing something about it - eventually you will succeed.

Third; you have reached out for help, this is a big step to success, if you haven't please do so. One of the main reason i am organizing a group Daniels Diet  and coming back into ministry is to help people who find it hard, to get group encouragement and input as it is not easy today with all the modern temptations around us. The facts are 60 - 70% of the population can not sustain a healthy lifestyle.
We all need support and help and Mentors at times like this. Emotional eating is one of the main factors for craving harmful foods and these issues may need addressing either before, after or during the Daniels fast.

Fourth; For those who can not undertake Daniels Diet or those who do not lose much weight or some symptoms are still there after the 10 or 20 days; - use this as a guide or motivator to find out why - your body or mind needs  specific help or adjustments. Seek the answers and you will get them. I have a whole  book series coming up on Amazon and my new web site in the next 2 months for guidance and help, so stick with us.

Day 3! Don't give up

Its worth it! The many hundreds of good news testimonies i receive can not lie. The next day or two for some can be a  struggle. So i encourage you don't give up, it will get easier from here on. Today is the day where withdrawals can manifest. Some people may feel a bit weak or tired,  cravings, dull headaches - these will go away and one of the most common testimonies is that by the end of the 10 days - 'i feel more energy, my brain is clear', 'no more headaches, no more tummy discomfort'  and 'i feel just wonderful'. Then of course is the weight loss.
